Comprehensive knowledge of the theory, principles, and methods of speech-language pathology; Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Google Apps; Strong interpersonal relationship and customer service skills; Ability to work independently as well as within a team concept; Ability to independently resolve problems; Ability to organize information from multiple sources; Ability to select, learn, and administer appropriate assessment and treatment activities; Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form using a variety of communication techniques and tools to ensure the appropriate flow of information, collaborative efforts, and feedback; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school system staff, students, parents, external agencies, and the public. Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility to complete the Clinical Fellowship Year with ASHA; A license from the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology or eligibility to complete the Supervised Experience Year with the NC BOE; Must hold and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator’s license with a good driving record according to the State of NC requirements.
