Working collaboratively with colleagues across University Advancement and the university, the University Philanthropy Officer advances prospects through the donor continuum, facilitating successful transitions from the leadership annual giving program and, when appropriate, to major gift officers for further cultivation and solicitation. The position manages a portfolio of emerging major gift prospects and develops relationships with alumni, friends, parents, faculty, staff, and community partners to assess philanthropic interest, capacity, and alignment with university priorities.
