Minimum Requirements: -Must be 21 Years of Age (for insurance purposes) -Current California Paramedic Certification -San Francisco Accrediton (or ability to obtain) -California Class C Driver’s License -Ambulance Driver’s License -AHA BLS Certification -International Trauma Life Support ITLS) Certification -Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification -PALS/ PEPP Certification -TB Test and Immunizations (HepB, MMR, DTap, Varicella) Physical Requirements: The employee is required to sit; climb or balance; step, stoop, kneel, or crouch. -This includes interaction with referring and receiving physicians, hospitals, ERs, critical care units, cardiac cath labs, nurses, EMS, fire personal as well as local, regional and state authorities -Handle protected health information (PHI) in a manner consistent with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
