What you'll do Assessment and treatment of patients with chronic and acute respiratory conditions, including COPD, asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, and sleep-disordered breathing Setup, education, and follow-up for home respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, home oxygen, and airway clearance devices Patient and caregiver education on disease management Participation in quality improvement initiatives, care protocols, and interdisciplinary care conferences All other duties as assigned What you'll need Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) in the state of practice; RRT credential strongly preferred Current BLS certification required 1 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred; outpatient or pulmonary clinic experience a significant plus; new graduates with strong clinical rotations will be considered Proficiency in non-invasive ventilation (CPAP/BiPAP), home oxygen therapy, and nebulizer/aerosol treatments Strong clinical judgment with the ability to manage a patient schedule and prioritize effectively Exceptional attention to detail; you notice changes in patient status across visits, you document thoroughly, and you follow up before small concerns become larger ones Clear, confident communicator who can build trust with patients over time and collaborate effectively with physicians, care coordinators, and support staff The ideal candidate balances clinical rigor with a warm, patient-centered approach.
