Proficiency in or willingness to develop skills in intra-aortic balloon pump insertion/removal, pacer management/pacing wire removal, endoscopic saphenous vein harvesting, Swan-Ganz insertion and removal, radial artery harvest (endoscopic or open), and chest tube placement preferred. Assists in the operating room for elective, urgent, and emergent adult cardiac surgery (CABG, valve replacement, aortic dissection) and adult thoracic surgery (robotic lung surgery, lobectomy, decortication) as instructed.
