<p><strong></strong>We are seeking an <strong>Asphalt Foreman</strong> to join the team in Ohio. This hands-on field leader will guide paving crews, operate a paver when needed, and keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and to spec.</p><p><strong>What You'll Do as the Asphalt Foreman:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead daily asphalt paving operations and keep crews aligned on priorities</li><li>Work directly in the field, including operating a paver as needed</li><li>Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor activity</li><li>Partner with project managers and engineers to execute job plans</li><li>Monitor job quality, production, safety, and schedule progress</li><li>Enforce OSHA and company safety standards on site</li><li>Track daily logs, production reports, materials, and incidents</li><li>Train and mentor crew members to improve performance and consistency</li><li>Communicate clearly with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors</li></ul><p><strong>Must-Haves as the Asphalt Foreman:</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of asphalt paving experience</li><li>Prior experience leading or supervising field crews</li><li>Hands-on paver operation experience</li><li>Strong knowledge of asphalt materials, paving methods, and heavy equipment</li><li>Ability to read and understand plans, specs, and project documents</li><li>Solid understanding of construction safety requirements</li><li>Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Valid driver's license</li><li>Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions</li></ul><p><strong>Nice-to-Haves as the Asphalt Foreman:</strong></p><ul><li>OSHA certification or other construction safety training</li><li>Experience coordinating equipment maintenance or downtime planning</li><li>Background working on commercial, municipal, or DOT paving projects</li><li>Additional heavy equipment operating experience</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits Offered:</strong></p><ul><li>Full-time, stable opportunity with a growing construction company</li><li>Hands-on leadership role with real influence over field operations</li><li>Team-oriented environment focused on quality, safety, and accountability</li><li>Opportunity to mentor crew members and help build a stronger field team</li><li>Consistent work across asphalt paving projects in Ohio</li></ul><p><em>Trueline and its clients are unabashed equal-opportunity employers committed to a diverse workforce.
