Responsibilities:
<div><div>In this position, you will manage and control the nursing center's labor spend and process payroll in accordance with established policies and procedures.</div><div><br/>*Serve as primary nursing center contact for all employees' needs with respect to scheduling, timekeeping and payroll. <br/>*Balance nursing center staffing needs, employee schedule preferences, and nursing center financial performance.<br/>*Use software to minimize overtime and nursing agency spend while at the same time ensuring nursing hours per patient day (HPPD) and salary expense is at the appropriate budget level. <br/>*Lead nursing center's Labor Management Team to proactively manage the center's labor management performance against Key Performance Indicators to optimize clinical, financial and human resource operating results. <br/>*Maintain nursing center nursing staff coverage at all times.</div></div>

Qualifications:
<p style="margin:0px">*Five plus years of previous work experience preferably in healthcare or long-term care with proven track record in similar position, scheduling, timekeeping, or payroll.</p><p style="margin:0px">*Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Psychology or related field preferred.</p>

This position is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments, and coordinating payroll activities to support compliant and on time employee compensation.<div> </div><div><strong>Classification: </strong>Hourly, Nonexempt</div><div><strong>Pay Range:</strong> $22.00 to $28.00 per hour </div><div><strong>Reports to:</strong> Chief Financial Officer</div><div> </div><div><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></div><ul><li>Receive and verify expense reports; reconcile expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records. </li><li>Prepares, posts, verifies and records client and vendor payments and transactions related to accounts receivable. Reconciles accounts payable and accounts receivable to the general ledger and monthly bank statements. </li><li>Reconciles payroll to the General Ledger and monthly bank statements. </li><li>Enters, maintains and/or processes information in the payroll system, to include labor rates, proper processing of payroll deductions and withholding for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions and other deductions. Handles any changes, timesheet issues and reimbursements.</li><li>Records and processes federal and state payroll tax deposits.</li><li>Facilitate payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, review purchase orders and resolving discrepancies.</li><li>Provides backup when needed for the Subcontractor Liaison. </li><li>Ensures that outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities any issues purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as needed.</li><li>Records entry of, verifies documentation for, and distributes petty cash.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned by manager.</li></ul><div><strong>COMPETENCY:</strong></div><ul><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related programs.</li><li>Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll software and other accounting software systems.</li><li>Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.</li><li>Reliability and trustworthiness are a must.</li></ul><div> <br/><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></div><ul><li>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li><li>Ability to lift 50 pounds at times.</li></ul><div><br/></div><div><strong>Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: </strong>Full time hourly position.
