Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Payroll Processing: Accurate and timely processing of payroll for all district employees (salaried, hourly, and substitutes) Data entry for hours worked, salary adjustments, stipends, overtime, and retroactive payments Management of payroll deductions, tax withholdings, and garnishments Coordinate payroll input of new hires Compliance & Reporting: Ensuring compliance with Massachusetts wage and hour laws, federal regulations, and collective bargaining agreements Preparation and submission of retirement reports to MTRS (Massachusetts Teachers Retirement System) Support for internal and external audits by preparing documentation.
