These responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Process and manage payroll on a regular schedule, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Maintain and update payroll records including wages, deductions, and benefits Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations Calculate taxes, garnishments, and other withholdings Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies Prepare payroll reports for management and accounting Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and deductions in a professional and prompt manner Collaborate with HR and Finance teams, and HRIS systems, regarding employee data changes Assist with audits and year-end processes (W-2s). Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of payroll processing experience Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations Basic understanding of accounting principles and payroll processes Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and various payroll software systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Familiarity with payroll laws and tax regulations Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
