With a minimum of supervision, reads and analyzes right-of-way plans and drawings, appraisals, title reports and environmental reports, and communicates this information to property owners and other interested parties; works closely with attorneys, business people, and others in government service; has a working knowledge of all applicable federal, state, county and city rules, regulations, and procedures; required to have basic computer skills and must be able to prepare the necessary documents to do specific task assigned. Experience must include interpretation of real estate valuation principles; semi-legal or paralegal work in preparation or review of documents, and understanding of real property law, interpretation of maps and construction plans, and documentation of transactions; AND completion of at least 48 units in courses in International Right of Way Association (IRWA)-approved courses AND successful completion of the equivalent of at least 90 quarter credit hours in an undergraduate program at an accredited institution.
