Prepares patients for examinations and treatments by escorting them to exam rooms, obtaining and documenting vital signs and weight, recording chief complaints, completing medication reconciliation, reviewing patient histories, documenting pain scores, and completing required questionnaires. Performs point-of-care testing, including blood pressure, EKG, pulse oximetry, Hgb A1C, glucose, urinalysis, urine HCG, rapid strep testing, and other approved tests.
