The clinical activities for the Division include approximately 1700 ambulatory visits, 157 multi-specialty inpatient consultations, and 480 inpatient subsequent visits per month in addition to internal and external EEG reads, PEMU monitoring, sleep studies, epilepsy laser surgeries, and in office procedures. Outpatient duties include evaluating and treating patients in the clinic setting, managing outpatient prescriptions and secure health messages, educating patients and their families on active issues and therapeutic changes, interacting with appropriate consultants, and facilitating appropriate follow up for patients.
General responsibilities include: The team of six APPs provide inpatient coverage to the liver and kidney transplant programs seven days per week in rotation, and when not providing inpatient coverage provide outpatient coverage to the liver transplant program.
