Collect, analyze and integrate patient information in order to identify and meet the patient-specific needs (Physical/mental limitations, current emotional/physiological status regarding the testing procedure, pertinent medical/social history), and to determine final testing parameters/procedures in conjunction with the ordering physician or clinical director and laboratory protocols. In addition to the above duties, one will be expected to communicate with patients, families and the community to educate individuals on sleep disorders, good sleep hygiene, and ways to optimize treatment, methods to improve and monitor compliance with prescribed treatment and assists patients in eliminating barriers to their care in order to maximize their treatment outcomes.
