Overview:

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Responsible for greeting the guests upon entry</li><li>Check guests purchased tickets and Escort guests to table</li><li>Responsible for maintaining stock and supply levels, and communicating to the Director of Performance Dining of low stock items.</li><li>Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns</li><li>Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work space including but not limited to disposal of garbage & cleaning dishes.</li><li>Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li><li>Must be 18 or over</li><li>Three or more months’ experience in food service industry preferred</li><li>Previous Hostess experience preferred.</li><li>Ability to learn to operate corresponding system</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests.</li></ul>

Position Summary:

Responsibilities:
Food and Beverage Support:<ul><li>Collect prepared food items from the kitchen and ensure their safe transportation to seating areas.</li><li>Verify that the food being delivered matches the order details, paying attention to special requests, allergies, or dietary restrictions.</li><li>Deliver food promptly to customers while it is still fresh and hot, ensuring that they receive their orders in a timely manner.</li><li>Assist picking up drink orders at the bar and delivering them to the guest.</li></ul>Table Preparation and Resetting:<ul><li>Set up tables with clean utensils and condiments before guests arrive.</li><li>Clear and reset tables promptly after customers have finished dining.</li><li>Ensure tables are properly arranged and presentable for the next guests.</li><li>Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the outdoor dining area, clearing empty plates, utensils, and other waste from tables when necessary.</li><li>Collaborate with the kitchen staff, servers, bartenders and other restaurant personnel to ensure smooth and coordinated service.</li></ul>Dining Area Maintenance:<ul><li>Regularly check and clean dining tables, chairs, and surrounding areas to maintain cleanliness and a neat appearance.</li><li>Empty and clean garbage cans before, during and after each shift.</li><li>Wipe down tables and cleaning debris around dining area and sitting down guest.</li><li>Assist with general cleaning tasks as needed, including restocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and bar.</li><li>Collect all recyclable garbage disposables and place on assigned garbage.</li><li>Assist in maintaining an adequate supply of disposable plates, containers and utensils.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Prior experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred, especially in a similar customer service role.</li><li>Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and carry food trays or plates, and navigate outdoor spaces comfortably.</li><li>Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with customers and effectively relay information to team members.</li><li>Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order delivery and customer satisfaction.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Willingness to work collaboratively with the kitchen and serving staff to provide seamless service.</li><li>A friendly and approachable demeanor with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.</li></ul>
