- Thorough knowledge and understanding of instructional procedures and practices;
- Basic math and record keeping procedures;
- Office procedures, methods and equipment including computers, data entry, Microsoft Office, Internet, and custom program based software;
- Effective communication that facilitates learning;
- Customer service principles and practices;
- Proper methods, materials, tools, chemicals, and equipment used in the class/program;
- Appropriate safety precautions and procedures. Physical activities include: ability to lead and participate in activities; sitting and/or standing for long periods of time, bending, stooping, reaching, walking, up to and including the possibility of climbing a ladder to reach inventory supplies; assist elderly and disabled clients as necessary; and the ability to work flexible scheduled shifts including weekends.
