Under the supervision of the Correctional Plant Manager (CPM), the Groundskeeper will be responsible for landscaping and grounds maintenance at the facility, maintaining lawns, trees and shrubs, performing weed abatement, repairing irrigation systems, road repair, keeping tools and equipment in good condition, operating various types of equipment, monitoring perimeter security and maintaining the security of their working areas as well as work materials/equipment. To facilitate the successful reintegration of the individuals in our care back to their communities equipped with the tools to be drug-free, healthy, and employable members of society by providing education, treatment, rehabilitative, and restorative justice programs, all in a safe and humane environment.
