The College of Fine Arts and Design currently has six academic units, the Department of Art, Department of Dance, School of Design, Department of Theatre Arts, School of Music and the Academy of Contemporary Music and specialized accreditations from National Association of Schools of Music (NASM), National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) and the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA). This is a Teaching Assistant (TA) position which will assist faculty members in a variety of ways: cover classes and provide in-class critique; lecture in areas where the student is deemed competent; potentially tutor students who need additional individual help; assist faculty with class preparation (i.e., library research, internet searches, and PowerPoint presentations), record keeping, and supervised grading of assignments; and, other duties/responsibilities as deemed necessary or required.
