Assist with work schedules, assigning work, training, enforcing Company policies and SOP's, Ensures that the pharmacy complies with the HIPAA laws/rules/regulations, the laws/rules/regulations of the board of pharmacy and/or regulatory agencies and abides by and enforces all company policies and procedures fairly and consistently. Process customers' prescriptions, by collecting the necessary information for the prescription based on the doctor's instructions; assists the Pharmacist in filling prescriptions; enters information into the computer, packs the prescriptions; and files applicable insurance claims.
