Under the supervision of a pharmacist, technicians are accountable for: • Preparing and dispensing prescribed medications for patients • Performing compounding of intravenous medications • Assisting in managing inventory • Performing charging and crediting functions for medications associated with drug distribution processes • Performing routine clerical/administrative tasks.
