div>The MA State Office of Pharmacy (MSOPS) Pharmacy Distribution Center (PDC) provides medications via central fill in unit dose or blister card form for DDS, DPH, DMH, DOC, and HOC facilities throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Health System Pharmacy is responsible for providing customized pharmacy program solutions that reduce costs and improve patient care quality for hospitals, health systems and other integrated healthcare providers may also consult with and advise healthcare team on prescribed medications, supplies and related processes.

Retrieves refill information from the voicemail lines, patient calls, pharmacy requests, my chart, and Patient Renewal Request in the 48 hour window timeframe. Under the direction of the department Nurse Supervisor, the employee will perform a variety of medication refill tech duties in support of the assigned clinical departments at South Shore Medical Center.
p>In this role, you'll work alongside Clinical Pharmacists, nurses, and physicians to ensure medications are prepared, delivered, and managed safely throughout the organization. Join our team and play an essential role in delivering safe, accurate, and efficient medication support to patients and healthcare teams across our hospital.
Assists pharmacists with filling prescriptions, answers phones, enters prescriptions into the computer, greets and assists customers, solves non-professional customer service issues; mails prescriptions; uses automated filling machines; files prescriptions and reports; conducts inventory and orders medications; handles third-party insurance, beside delivery to patients within the hospital.
