Mastery of these duties include but are not limited to: Filling, refilling and labeling medications, delivering Medications to Patient Care Areas, answering the telephone and directing the call to the appropriate staff, accurate/efficient data entry and third party adjudication, purchasing and maintaining medication stock levels, maintaining proper storage of medications (inventory and expiration dates) to ensure safe and cost effective pharmaceutical services.
