Providing appropriate support, based on the assigned patient care setting, for the safe management, processing, distribution, authorization, billing, receiving, stocking, and packaging of prescription, prescription medications and over the counter products. The pharmacies provide new and refill prescriptions, prescriptions for specialty medications and they can transfer existing prescriptions from our inpatient pharmacies to our three Scripps Pharmacy locations.
