Responsibilities on the donor phlebotomy floor include the set-up of automated plasmapheresis machines, performing the donor venipuncture procedure, collecting applicable samples, monitoring of donors throughout the collection process, performing venipuncture adjustments as needed, managing appropriate donor reactions, and completing the disconnection of donors from the automated plasmapheresis machines upon conclusion of the procedure. As a representative of the organization, the Technician II, Donor Center consistently delivers professional, courteous, and customer-focused interactions with donors and team members.
