MA Preceptors provide local training for onboarding, new company-wide or regional implementations, and remediation for skills and competencies. Additionally, MA Preceptors provide float coverage during which they collect all necessary medical information regarding our patients to ensure providers have the most accurate information available when making healthcare decisions.MA Preceptors report to the regional Director of Clinical Support. They are a vital element of our model and important members of our Care Teams. Being a MA Preceptor at Street Health requires high levels of flexibility, energy, attention to detail, mastery of role, skill in training, and problem solving skills. You will be expected to build relationships with Oak Street Health members throughout their new hire or current Oaky journey. MA Preceptors will collaborate closely with Directors of Clinical Support and center-level leaders to meet identified needs for precepting throughout the region(s) in which they cover. As a MA Preceptor, you will develop strong working relationships with team members identified for precepting and support their skill mastery and core competencies required for job proficiency. Responsibilities:
The Phlebotomist functions as a laboratory professional who performs specimen collection techniques or specimen collection instructions that include; venipuncture, capillary draws, urine collection instruction and specimen culture collection instruction.<ul><li>Ensure specimens are obtained in accordance with laboratory guidelines.</li><li>Follows proper protocols for specimen packaging and specimen transport.</li><li>Responsible for specimen accessioning as assigned. </li><li>Demonstrates proper infection control practices, proper patient identification, performs proper prompt specimen transport. </li><li>Performs proper drug screen collection and processing as assigned. </li><li>Provides phlebotomy services in a professional and patient-centered manner.</li></ul>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>The Patient Care Technician collaborates with licensed nurses to support the safe and compassionate delivery of patient care in a healing environment.</li><li>Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, the PCT performs delegated tasks and demonstrates advanced skills in providing care to age-specific patient populations.</li><li>Responsibilities include recording data in accordance with policy, reporting patient observations and concerns, and assisting with both clinical and non-clinical duties.</li><li>Key tasks involve obtaining vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, collecting lab specimens, and supporting patient monitoring.</li><li>In addition to proficiency in general areas of practice, the PCT completes advanced unit-based competencies and skill validations, enabling them to perform their job functions as assigned.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
