Administers treatments that align with the plan of care and practices within the scope of the occupational therapy state practice act (i.e., ROM, strengthening, neuromuscular facilitation, splinting, edema control, functional activities, coordination, low vision and cognitive retraining, visual perceptual motor training, ADL's, groups, participant, and caregiver education). Administers skilled occupational therapy treatments to restore or maintain the patient's/resident's ability to perform activities of daily living, improve work readiness, promote play/leisure activities, or enhance educational performance.
