Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant Profession: Physical Therapist Assistant Specialty: Long Term Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours M-F, flexible times Experience: 1+ years of PTA experience, LTC or Rehab experience License: Active PTA license Must-Have: - Evidence-based practice in clinical interventions - Ability to provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments - Proficiency in administering various rehabilitation procedures - Skills in patient assessment and progress communication - Effective communication with health team members - Documenting care as per regulatory and clinical requirements - Participation in patient care conferences and in-services - Ability to supervise and support students Description: Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions. Administers various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices.
