Responsible for interpretation/implementation of physician orders, provision of safe care to customers, protection of confidential information, professional communication, economic use of time/resources, and creation of a positive work/therapy environment. The Occupational Therapist has the responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, evaluating, and implementing care for patients ordered occupational therapy.
