Responsibilities* Diagnose, treat, and manage hormonal disorders related to dietary needs, such as diabetes and obesity* Demonstrate extensive knowledge of endocrine glands and their role in adolescent growth and development* Analyze records, reports and examination information to monitor patients' condition, progress and treatment* Collect and maintain patient information such as medical history, reports, and exam results* Provide on-call services as necessary* Identify serious or specialized illness or injuries and refer patients to the necessary specialist* Maintain successful working relationships with nurses and other medical facility staff* Participate in occasional and reasonable amounts of teaching and educational activitiesMulti-specialty group with 70 physicians and advanced-practice clinicians serving greater Anchorage and the Matanuska-Susitna Valley. * In this role, you will provide consultation in developing clinic policies, clinic protocols, forms, reports, and records, as well as promote new and enhance existing services.* The role requires a Medical Degree in Medicine, Completion of Residency program in Pediatrics, Completion of Fellowship program in Pediatric Endocrinology and current or immediate eligibility for Alaska Medical License.
