Responsibilities may include: Cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms and discharged rooms • Cleaning hallways, common areas, restrooms, and other hospital spaces • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and removing trash • Following established hospital cleaning and infection-prevention procedures • Using cleaning products, equipment, and personal protective equipment safely • Responding to housekeeping needs throughout the facility as assigned • Helping maintain a professional, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff- Because this is a healthcare environment, team members must be flexible and willing to assist with any housekeeping task needed during their shift. Positive attitude and strong work ethic • Willingness to learn and follow established procedures • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to communicate effectively in English • Ability to successfully complete required background and drug screenings • Ability to complete required healthcare screenings and immunizations.
