p>You will split your time between regular rounds in an inpatient unit (IPU) — a hospital-like environment in a fixed location — and home visits to patients who choose to receive hospice and palliative care in a private residence, assisted living facility or skilled nursing facility. Through a combination of inpatient rounds and in-home visits, you will use your compassion, communication skills and deep expertise to build meaningful relationships with your patients and the people who love them.
