Responsibilities for this position include: • Supervision of all clinical care for patients in Labor and Delivery, Antenatal and Postpartum areas • Emergency Department evaluations, requested inpatient consultations from other departments, surgical procedures and post-operative care • Providing overall leadership and oversight for all activities on Labor and Delivery, working in collaboration with certified nurse midwives, nursing, fellows, Ob-Gyn residents, medical students and other learners • Bedside teaching of medical learners is an important expectation of the position.
