The Junior Health Physicist must possess a degree in natural science or engineering that includes at least 30 semester hours in health physics, engineering, radiological science, chemistry, physics, biology, mathematics, and/or calculus, or a combination of education and experience that includes the courses as shown above, including an understanding of sciences applicable to health physics comparable to that described above. Some responsibilities include: Provide radiological support services for DTRA's personnel dosimetry program including: Participating in meetings with the Air Force Dosimetry Center (AFDC) on issues pertaining to the issuance, shipment, distribution, use, return, processing, and recordkeeping associated with use of the optically stimulated luminescence dosimetry (OSLs).
