In this role, you will perform numerical simulations and modeling of advanced ion transport methods, provide technical input to ion trap fabrication efforts, related electronic control system development projects, and collaborate with teams performing experimental characterization and validation of ion transport concepts in the laboratory. Minimum of 5 years' experience (PhD inclusive) involving one or more of the following areas: ion transport, quantum computing, experimental control system development, quantum information, atomic physics, electronics design, ion trap design, or ion trap fabrication.
