You will start as a hands-on individual contributor working across several Portland-area facilities as we grow. Early on, your focus will be building the systems that make pilot production work: schedules, dashboards, and workflows that keep builds moving from first article testing to tight-turnaround production runs.</p><p>As we grow, you will build and lead a small production team. Your group will sit between development and factory-scale manufacturing, working closely with engineering, manufacturing development, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure that new products and processes scale smoothly when they move into the factory.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Translate project completion targets into production schedules and provide clear need-by dates to upstream teams</li><li>Manage pilot production work both in-house and with contract manufacturing partners across multiple Portland-area sites</li><li>Stand up and operate pilot production workstations in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineers</li><li>Support the build-out of MRP and MES systems, including defining production transactions and workflows</li><li>Build production dashboards and KPIs to track output, throughput, and bottlenecks</li><li>Hire, train, and manage a production team as our pilot capacity grows</li><li>Work closely with engineering teams to move new designs from prototype builds toward stable production</li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years working cross-functionally with technical teams to produce a hardware product</li><li>2–5 years directly involved with pilot production (high-mix hardware builds working closely with design teams)</li><li>Demonstrated ability to operate under aggressive production timelines</li><li>Experience building and leading a team</li><li>Experience building and using production dashboards or scorecards to drive improvements</li><li>Familiarity with manufacturing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, or similar approaches</li><li>Experience with factory tools and systems such as MES, SCADA, MRP, or QMS</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Production experience across multiple hardware domains, with specific interest in experience with steel structures, electronics or avionics systems, pressure vessels, or marine coatings</li><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field</li><li>Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) or manufacturing development programs</li><li>Experience improving manufacturing metrics such as OEE, throughput, yield, or cycle time</li><li>Experience coordinating production across multiple facilities or external partners</li></ul><p>The above qualifications are desired, not required. About this Role:
<p style="margin:0px">Winco Powerline Services is seeking experienced candidates for Utility/Powerline Pilot. Will be flying in the wire environment in support of powerline construction with human external loads, non-human loads, class A loads (skid work), and class C loads (wire pull). This position requires pilots who are willing to clean aircraft and other miscellaneous non-pilot duties. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and will represent Winco in a professional manner.</p>

What You'll Do:
<ul><li>Work a rotational schedule of three (3) weeks on and three (3) weeks off.</li><li>Fly in the wire environment in support of powerline construction.</li><li>Carry human external loads, non-human loads, class A loads (skid work), and class C loads (wire pull).</li><li>Clean aircraft and perform other miscellaneous non-pilot duties.</li><li>Adhere to all Company Safety and Health Policies while in the course of conducting Company business.</li></ul>

As Aviation Maintenance Duty Officers, lead and manage aircraft maintenance and material readiness, ensure safe and effective execution of maintenance programs, and coordinate the people, parts, and processes that keep squadrons mission capable. What to Expect Expect a high tempo, high technology aviation environment with a structured training pipeline followed by demanding fleet tours. Daily work blends flight operations, simulator events, mission planning, debriefs, and maintenance or readiness oversight. Officers assume significant responsibility early, leading aircrews, maintenance teams, and watch sections while maintaining personal proficiency and physical fitness. Deployments on aircraft carriers and with expeditionary squadrons alternate with shore tours focused on training, staff work, or further education. Work Environment Work primarily at Naval Air Stations, aboard aircraft carriers and other aviation capable ships, and at aviation training commands. Time is divided between cockpits, simulators, mission planning and briefing rooms, maintenance control spaces, and offices. Aviation Officers operate in a variety of climates and time zones, often working irregular hours and night operations to meet flight schedules and mission requirements. Pathways, Training & Advancement Officers normally complete a commissioning program through the United States Naval Academy, Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps, Officer Candidate School, or a collegiate officer program and then report to aviation training. Pilot and Naval Flight Officer candidates complete aviation indoctrination in Pensacola, followed by primary, intermediate, and advanced flight training at locations such as NAS Whiting Field, NAS Corpus Christi, and training commands in Florida and Texas. After earning Wings of Gold, they complete Fleet Replacement Squadron training in a specific aircraft before joining operational squadrons. Aviation Maintenance Duty Officers complete officer accession training and receive formal technical and managerial training in naval aviation maintenance before reporting to fleet maintenance billets. Throughout their careers, Naval Aviation Officers attend additional tactical, leadership, and maintenance management courses and may compete for graduate education, including opportunities at the Naval Postgraduate School. Officers typically access Naval Aviation through USNA, NROTC, Officer Candidate School, or collegiate programs, and are selected for Pilot, Naval Flight Officer, or Aviation Maintenance Duty Officer pipelines based on performance, aptitude, medical qualification, and the needs of the Navy. Prospective aviation officers are assigned to aviation training squadrons prior to commissioning or shortly after commissioning and begin primary flight or aviation maintenance training upon arrival. Navy Reserve aviation billets usually require prior qualification and experience as a Naval Aviator, Naval Flight Officer, or Aviation Maintenance Duty Officer rather than direct entry from civilian life. Qualifications All Navy jobs require meeting general enlistment or commissioning standards, which typically include: Eligibility to serve in the United States Navy, which may involve United States citizenship or other legal residency and work status, depending on the program and current law and policy A high school diploma or equivalent for enlisted positions, and a bachelor's or qualifying professional degree for officer positions Meeting age limits that vary by program and are set in law and Navy policy. Some communities have more restrictive age ranges Meeting medical, vision, and dental standards, including body composition and physical fitness requirements, with some jobs requiring more demanding standards Meeting character and conduct standards, including background screening Achieving required test scores for your program, such as the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery for enlisted roles or officer qualification tests for officer programs Eligibility for a security clearance when required for your rating or designator Additional qualifications can include specific skills, education, licensure, or experience that are unique to a job or community and will be reviewed with you by a recruiter. Additional qualifications for this job may include: Applicants for aviation officer programs must meet general officer commissioning standards and also qualify for aviation duty or aviation maintenance duty. Strong academic performance, especially in technical or quantitative fields, competitive test scores, and demonstrated leadership potential are important for selection into aviation officer programs.
