PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Transportation Planning or a related field, and at least three years of relevant work experience in multimodal transportation analysis; Strong computer skills and experience utilizing geographic information systems (GIS), transportation planning software packages, and microsimulation and analysis software (e.g., Synchro, VISSIM, Synchro, Sidra, etc.), to evaluate pedestrian, bicycle, for pedestrians, bicycles, transit, and/or vehicle facilities; Experience evaluating transportation impacts of land use or road improvement proposals; Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills, including ability to coordinate multiple projects, prioritize, and meet established deadlines; Strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communications skills; Professional license in engineering or planning; and. Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelors degree in civil engineering, urban, regional or transportation planning, or a closely related field; plus two years of professional experience in civil engineering, urban, regional or transportation planning, or a closely related field.
