Duties Summary: Performs a variety of law enforcement, crime prevention, investigative or other specialized duties of a trainee police officer and/or under general supervision performs supportive, sub professional police work; and performs other related duties as required. It involves formal and informal training in the basic principles, practices, methods and techniques of police work under general supervision requiring some judgment in carrying out and explaining laws, rules and regulations, policies and procedures involving occasional responsible personal contact.
