The Site Coordinator will coordinate and facilitate instruction, activities, and events associated with Communities In Schools , including, but not limited to: the implementation and delivery of all services and activities; the provision of appropriate community resources and individualized support to identified students and families; the screening, scheduling, and/or training of tutors, project partners, and volunteers; regular communication and interaction with students, family members, school administrators, and grant related employees and volunteers. Faculty and staff are dedicated to student engagement and experiential learning through high-impact practices such as internships, service- and community-based learning, leadership development, study abroad opportunities, mentored undergraduate research and a capstone project that fosters intellectual curiosity, reasoned inquiry and critical thinking.
