A bachelors degree involving major study in business or public administration, accounting, political science, criminal justice, sociology, psychology, or law AND five years of professional experience in tax administration, the collection of civil or criminal debt, law enforcement, personal or corporate finance, accounting or bookkeeping, or investigations involving personal background, business practices or fraud. This position is designated as the statewide expert in theory review for tax discovery in the Compliance Review, Research, and Tax Discovery Training Unit (CRRT) and is responsible for important key tasks that support the Tax Discovery program in areas such as theory review of assessments, tax policy, divisional training, taxability research, and field/Revenue Agent support.
