Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, interviewing victims and witnesses to obtain information regarding criminal activity, collecting evidence, testifying in court, participating in illegal drug enforcement operations, enforcing traffic laws, issuing tickets and citations, making arrests, and providing police escorts and first responder medical assistance, as needed. Reporting to the Assistant Director and Lieutenant of Campus Safety, the Law Enforcement Officer will perform protective service work enforcing laws and regulations (both traffic and criminal), investigate criminal activity, prepare reports, and maintain records and files in order to protect life and property, prevent crime, and promote safety.
