This person will be a critical team member in a high-paced environment that includes general procurement responsibilities and supplier relationship management.  They will actively participate in an environment of continuous improvement and will develop skills and traits to become an effective leader.A successful Procurement Specialist I will accomplish the following:First 30 days<ul><li>Participate in Wavetronix onboarding and personal development training.</li><li>Gain basic Oracle Fusion knowledge of key interface screens.</li><li>Understand how Wavetronix products are manufactured.</li><li>Gain understanding of 3-way paperwork matching for Accounts Payable activities.</li><li>Learn basic procurement practices with the ability to begin making purchases with little oversight.</li><li>Understand the long-term vision and direction of the Wavetronix campus.</li></ul>First 90 days<ul><li>Purchase supplies and materials as assigned with some oversight.</li><li>Form initial relationships with key supply chain partners and internal customers.</li><li>Deepen Oracle Fusion understanding.</li><li>Demonstrate ability to expedite shortages.</li><li>Learn basic project management skills. </li></ul>1 year and beyond<ul><li>Proactively manage supplier relationships as assigned by Procurement Manager.</li><li>Participate in cross-functional procurement projects from planning through close-out.</li><li>Develop the skills required to back-up and assist others on the procurement team. </li><li>Understand sourcing strategies and contribute to cross-functional collaboration with engineering, production, and finance teams. </li><li>Contribute regularly to process-improvement initiatives.</li><li>Strive to find ways to contribute to personal, team, and company growth.</li></ul>Desired Experience and CompetenciesProcurement Specialist I traits: Attention to detail.
