<h1>Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist</h1>Location: South of Atlanta, Georgia<h2>Position Summary</h2>We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to support procurement, supply chain, supplier risk management, and logistics activities. This role is responsible for coordinating purchase orders, monitoring supplier performance, supporting sustainable procurement initiatives, and ensuring accurate data management within the ERP system. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><h3>Supply Chain Operations</h3><ul><li>Process purchase orders and coordinate procurement activities.</li><li>Manage email communications with suppliers and internal stakeholders.</li><li>Monitor order status and follow up on deliveries and schedules.</li><li>Maintain accurate records and enter data into the ERP system.</li><li>Support general supply chain operations and administrative activities.</li></ul><h3>Supplier Risk Management</h3><ul><li>Support the company's sustainable procurement initiatives.</li><li>Conduct supplier pre-evaluations and supplier assessments.</li><li>Coordinate supplier evaluation activities through designated platforms and tools.</li><li>Assist in monitoring supplier compliance with company standards and requirements.</li><li>Maintain supplier evaluation records and related documentation.</li></ul><h3>Logistics Coordination</h3><ul><li>Prepare shipping documents and shipping forms.</li><li>Coordinate transportation arrangements and monitor shipment status.</li><li>Communicate with logistics providers and suppliers regarding shipments.</li><li>Support import/export and transportation-related administrative activities.</li><li>Enter logistics and shipment data into the ERP system.</li></ul><h2>Required Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related functions within a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.</li><li>Experience communicating with customers, suppliers, or external business partners.</li><li>Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication and follow-up skills.</li><li>Ability to adapt to new processes, systems, and changing business needs.</li></ul><h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Experience working in an international or multicultural business environment.</li><li>Experience with ocean freight, international logistics, or import/export operations.</li><li>Knowledge of supplier evaluation, sustainability, ESG, or supplier risk management programs is a plus.</li></ul><h2>Skills & Competencies</h2><ul><li>Strong organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.</li><li>Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.</li><li>Proactive problem-solving mindset.</li><li>Team-oriented with strong interpersonal communication skills.</li></ul>

Reporting to the Director of Procurement within the Global Procurement team, you will be given the flexibility and autonomy to drive agreed strategies, deliver initiatives, and bring the role to life. We are looking for a strong Procurement Specialist, who will be responsible for the sourcing, negotiation, and contract management for SW, SAAS, Cloud & Hosting IT sub-categories. This includes working with different departments to determine and execute purchase approach, purchase requirements, candidate suppliers, and supplier selection. The Procurement Specialist will also be required to ensure compliance of vendor engagements with the company’s Procurement policies and procedures. You will lead negotiations, identify, and deliver real value for the business while collaborating with cross functional teams in accordance with the company’s procurement policies and procedures. With Verint continuing to evolve and with the recent Thoma Bravo acquisition and merger with Calabrio—you will play a key role in supporting integration activity across our global business—rapidly assessing third-party spend, aligning suppliers to Verint standards, and partnering with stakeholders to ensure continuity, compliance, and value realization. Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilitie s: + Assists in contractual and commercial negotiations with new and existing SW, SaaS, and Service provider vendors. + Ensure proper purchasing involvement in all major company vendor engagements and execute Vendor management practice with strategic vendors of the organization. + Promote savings and other value-add through proactive negotiations of new agreements and renewals and by Leading benchmarking activity to perform market comparison of supplier rates and cost models. Tasked with executing the procurement strategies for the organization. + Actively participates in the establishment, communication and implementation of business goals and procurement improvements. + Establishes Global cooperation and proper alignment with IT, Finance, Legal, Services and Operations + Ensure all procurement activities are following the Global Procurement policy and procedures. Minimum Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience + A minimum of 3 years of procurement experience in sourcing SW, SaaS & IaaS, including a strong knowledge of software license and SaaS terms. + Highly organized individual with excellent time management skills; highly flexible individual who can handle multiple tasks and activities, intense workload with short timeframes and unplanned requests. + Ability to demonstrate personal attributes such as independent work, confidence, and integrity in addition to being determined and thorough, which is inherent in this position. + Strong ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, complex environment. + Limited domestic travel to attend business meetings. + Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations.
