This position has been designated by the department to require a background check because it requires access to children or vulnerable adults as defined by https://apps.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=74.34, engages in law enforcement, requires security clearance, interacts with WSU students in a counseling or advising capacity, has access to personal identifying and/or financial information, unsupervised access to university buildings/property, or other business-related need. In this role, you will be required to practice sound journalistic judgment in order to skillfully use social media and digital tools to research, discover and share news content on a live radio broadcast and to update news and information before, during and after selected program broadcast, on social media or other digital post.
