DSPs provide a variety of services to our residents, and duties vary from program to program, but may include (but are not limited to):Providing care giver services to our residents, including personal cares when appropriate and necessaryTeaching and maintaining skillsCooking and feeding assistanceProviding support with hobbies, studies, and social activitiesMedication administrationAnd participating in fun recreational activities with residents! If you have a High School diploma (or equivalent) and are over the age of 18, we will provide all of the training that you need to provide high-quality care; no experience is necessaryDSPs are people-oriented - they assist individuals with their care giver skills, provide Home Services, and strive to improve their quality of life!
