Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** August 31, 2026 **Location:** Pasadena, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Variable shifts (Day/Night rotation), alternate weekends required, 1:5 patient ratio (acuity dependent)**Highlights:** - 30-bed Emergency Department located on First Floor, South Tower- High-acuity environment including trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis cases- Advanced equipment including monitors, defibrillators, ultrasound, and EKG machines- EMR: Meditech, transitioning to Expanse platform (August 2026)- Collaborative team of 49 FTE, 6 PRN staff, and 2 leadership members- Opportunity to float to two freestanding emergency departments as needed**Requirements:** - Active Texas RN license- ENPC, TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, CPI with TIC certifications required- NRP and STABLE certifications preferred- Extensive experience with trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis protocols- Advanced critical thinking skills and clinical competency- Adult and pediatric ED experience preferred- Proficiency in procedures including thoracotomy, arterial lines, and MTP**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic, high-acuity emergency care setting where your critical thinking and advanced skills will make a direct impact on patient outcomes.
