Tasks may include assistance with the research, design, planning, concept development, construction, and upgrading of overhead/underground high voltage transmission line projects, power distribution/transmission substations, fiber-optic, line extensions, power regulation, renewable energy, major additions, as well as protection and control systems in a wide variety of linear contexts. Assist with verifying the characteristics of a site and providing technical assistance with preliminary line routing and site selection, coordinating and assessing the impacts of line routes, station sites, real estate, licensing, construction, and environmental constraints on the overall engineering process.
