Essential Qualifications:High school or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of warehouse, logistics, materials management, or related experience preferredExperience utilizing SAP or similar inventory management systemsProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other computer applicationsExperience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and provide quality customer serviceWorking knowledge of inventory control procedures and warehouse operationsForklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferredPrevious experience in a refinery, petrochemical, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferredExperience performing cycle counts and inventory audits preferredKnowledge of MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) materials and warehouse processes preferredFamiliarity with material staging, turnaround support, and maintenance operations preferredExcellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skillsPost offer drug screen and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Group, LLC. Drug, Alcohol and Contraband PolicyApplicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others at the workplace Functional Requirements:Stores, removes, loads, and unloads all types of materials from storage bins, pallets and vehicles that cannot be handled by material handling devices, Operates manual or mechanical devices and stocks inventory shelves, Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed, Assorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, or color, Moves materials and supplies from the warehouse and prepares for delivery, Fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools, or stock items, Records material items received or distributed, May maintain inventory records, Performs routine housekeeping tasks to maintain work area, Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
