PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTSMobility – ability to sit or stand for long periods, move about an office, reach above and below desk or counter level including overhead lifting; Lifting - regular lifting of parts, equipment and supplies weighing up to 70 pounds; regular carrying of parts, equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds; Visual – ability to read paperwork and computer screens; good overall vision, color perception, depth perception; frequent reading and close-up work; normal hand and eye coordination; good field of vision/peripheral; Dexterity - frequent holding, reaching; grasping; frequent repetitive motion; frequent writing; Hearing/Talking – frequent hearing of normal speech; occasional hearing/talking on the telephone, talking in person; Emotional/Psychological – occasional public contact; frequent ability to make decisions and concentrate, working alone; occasional exposure to hazardous materials; occasional dealing with emergency situations; Special Requirements – may require working overtime, weekends, nights and holidays; occasional travel; Environmental – frequent exposure to dust, grease, oil, various chemicals, fumes, and noise associated with working in repair shop environment in the motor vehicle industry.
