Maintain effective intra/inter-departmental communications as required (team meetings, shift meetings, production meetings)Assist in post- accident investigations, including recording of event, root cause analysis and corrective actionsDaily Production Review with manager at end of shiftDaily Report of Quality issuesDaily Reports submitted utilizing Daily Score CardConduct daily shift-to-shift pass down of informationAssign / maintain housekeeping throughout the departmentReview production schedule for needed WIP to meet schedule goalsEducation, Experience and QualificationsThe employee should have the following:Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 3 - 5 years' experience in functional roleProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPointManufacturing Experience (Automated/manual production lines)Lean Manufacturing (5S, Kaizen)Continuous Improvement ExperienceDemonstrated experience in process improvement utilizing lean manufacturing conceptsEssential Physical Requirements/ Work EnvironmentWorks in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentContinuously stands on concrete.
