The incumbent must also possess sufficient skills to communicate and provide motivation to his subordinates to attain plant objectives while exhibiting aggressive leadership, sound analytical and technical ability, initiative, cooperation, and enthusiasm in developing and establishing procedures, objectives, and long- and short-term plans and maintain a high degree of professionalism in both the personnel he directs and the other departments of the plant. The incumbent must possess strong written and verbal communication skills while dealing with department managers, staff personnel, production managers, supervisors, off-site locations, and outside vendors to assure attainment of divisional objectives while maintaining an environment of flexibility, control and creativity.
