 Production SchedulerReno, NV Compensation Includes<ul><li>Starting Pay Rate of $25 - $30/hour - depending on experience</li></ul>Available Shift<ul><li style="text-align:left">7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday</li></ul>Overview The Production Scheduler role plans, coordinates, and monitors production activities to ensure accurate scheduling, efficient material usage, and on‑time delivery. It analyzes labor and material requirements, maintains and adjusts production schedules, compiles key production and inventory data, and works closely with Production, Procurement, Distribution, Customer Service, and Management to prevent delays and support continuous improvement. The position also assists with new product setup, maintains accurate BOMs and routings, and ensures compliance with all plant, GMP, and food‑safety standards. Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Calculate labor, material needs, and production costs using schedules and MRP/MPS data</li><li>Compile and maintain production, inventory, and usage data for reporting</li><li>Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Distribution, and Customer Service to prevent delays and support shipping</li><li>Review documents, materials, and products for accuracy and compliance</li><li>Maintain and adjust the production schedule to meet demand and address shortages or changes</li><li>Distribute schedules and work orders to departments</li><li>Support new product setup including BOMs, routings, equipment needs, and cost estimates</li><li>Plan production timelines based on sales forecasts</li><li>Document delays and changes affecting cost or schedule</li><li>Monitor production data and support continuous improvement of BOMs, routings, and scheduling accuracy</li><li>Follow all plant rules, GMPs, and food‑safety requirements, contributing to process</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.), preferably in a business, technical or behavioral science discipline or a combination of education and 5+ years of work-related experience.</li><li>Knowledge of arithmetic, structured problem-solving tools, and their applications, using these abilities to analyze and create proactive solutions to reduce or eliminate problems in production and enhancing our ability to service customers, both internal and external</li><li>Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions, involving as many resources as necessary to bring the issue to quick and accurate resolution, involving department and plant management on an “as needed” basis</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimum supervision to complete job tasks</li><li>Team player with ability to build lasting productive business relationships with suppliers, customers, management, and peers</li><li>Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods</li></ul>

This is site-level construction experience who knows the construction process.</li><li>Understanding of best practice relating to the delivery of a construction program is required.</li><li>Extensive experience creating and managing large-scale construction schedules in Primavera P6.</li><li>A background in Project Controls is beneficial.</li><li>Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications and construction sequencing is required.</li><li>Being able to work independently is crucial.</li><li>Capable of producing detailed concept level schedules from limited project information.
